TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the West Mountain Camp website located at www.westmountaincamp.org and your participation in any programs, events, or services offered by West Mountain Camp ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or registering for any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using our website or enrolling in any West Mountain Camp program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or a parent/legal guardian enrolling a minor), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. PROGRAMS AND REGISTRATION
West Mountain Camp offers camp programs, retreats, events, and related activities. Registration is subject to availability and is not confirmed until payment is received and a confirmation is issued by West Mountain Camp. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule programs due to weather, low enrollment, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our control.
Participants are expected to comply with all camp rules, staff instructions, and community standards throughout their enrollment. West Mountain Camp reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior endangers others or is inconsistent with the values and mission of the camp, without refund.
3. FEES, PAYMENTS, AND REFUNDS
Program fees are listed at the time of registration. Fees are due according to the payment schedule provided during enrollment. West Mountain Camp accepts payment through the methods listed on our registration platform.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@westmountaincamp.org. Refund eligibility is as follows:
- Cancellations made 30 or more days before the program start date: full refund minus any non-refundable deposit
- Cancellations made 15–29 days before the program start date: 50% refund
- Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the program start date: no refund
- No-shows or early departures: no refund
If West Mountain Camp cancels a program, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to apply their payment toward a future program.
4. SMS / TEXT MESSAGE COMMUNICATIONS
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration or sign-up, you agree to receive text messages from West Mountain Camp. These messages may include registration confirmations, camp updates, schedule changes, safety notifications, and occasional promotional or fundraising messages.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Message frequency varies; you may receive up to 4–8 messages per month during active seasons.
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of registration or purchase.
- We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. HEALTH, SAFETY, AND MEDICAL INFORMATION
Participants or their parents/guardians are required to provide accurate and complete health and medical information at the time of registration, including any allergies, medical conditions, medications, and special needs. West Mountain Camp staff are not licensed medical professionals. In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact emergency services and notify the parent or guardian on file.
By enrolling in a West Mountain Camp program, you authorize West Mountain Camp staff to seek emergency medical treatment on behalf of a minor participant if a parent or guardian cannot be reached in a timely manner.

. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE
West Mountain Camp may photograph or record video of participants during programs for use in promotional materials, social media, our website, or publications. By registering, you grant West Mountain Camp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such images or footage for organizational purposes.
If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed or recorded, you must notify us in writing at the time of registration. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.
7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Participation in camp programs involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, physical activity, outdoor environments, and travel. By registering, participants and their parents or guardians acknowledge these risks and agree to assume responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may result from participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, West Mountain Camp, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our programs, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. CONDUCT AND COMMUNITY STANDARDS
West Mountain Camp is a faith-based organization committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered community. All participants, parents, guardians, and visitors are expected to:
- Treat all staff, campers, and guests with dignity and respect
- Refrain from harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
- Follow all posted rules and staff instructions
- Abstain from alcohol, tobacco, illegal substances, and weapons on camp property
Violations of these standards may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on www.westmountaincamp.org, including text, images, logos, graphics, and video, is the property of West Mountain Camp or its content providers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without prior written permission.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. West Mountain Camp does not endorse or control the content of those sites and is not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, West Mountain Camp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ada County, Idaho.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or enrollment in our programs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
